Getting Ready for Spring

The weather this past weekend was amazing here in Missouri! It felt like Spring (maybe even Summer!), and we took full advantage of it. Our cousin’s wedding was on Saturday, and it was a beautiful occasion. It also gave me the perfect excuse to get all dressed up, since I usually live in yoga pants. 🙂 I wore some perfect nude colored heels that I got from Payless Shoe Source. You can get a very similar pair here. They are super comfortable!

After the wedding, we went out and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We ran a few errands, and we got some pretty home decor from Hobby Lobby for the new shelving that Ashton put up in the living room around the fireplace this week. Yes. He is at it again. No sign of when the home improvement will stop. He is really doing an amazing job, though. I will update you guys as we get stuff done.

So…I also switched into this really cute and comfy dress I got at Target before we went out. I have really been wanting a t-shirt dress, and this is perfect! I got my shoes from Target a while back. I also actually found time to paint my nails! I tried out this pretty, fresh white color. The color is “Marshmallow” by Essie. You can get it here.

What better way to end a great day than with a walk? Did I mention how nice it was outside? I really needed to get out after all of the cold weather. It really lifted my spirits and put me in a wonderful mood! I hope all of you had an amazing weekend as well. Let’s cross our fingers that the weather stays nice, and Spring gets here soon!

P.S. The Bachelor is tomorrow! 😉

10 Things About Me

shop my outfit here. We are just now starting 2021, and it feels like it has been forever since my last blog post. I think we all have dealt with what 2020 gave us in our own ways, and I definitely needed a mental break…
