Time seems to be flying lately, and we are all in a Spring mood in this house. Lana is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything, so she has been loving our family walks outside.
As I mentioned in my last post, Lana is so much more into everything now, which makes walks that much more fun. It is such an exciting journey watching her learn and grow. Now that she has been going outside more, I have also been catching her trying to pull up onto our windows in the living room and look outside. I love her curiosity. 🙂
Her Daddy only encourages her curiosity more by giving her different views on life…literally. 😉 It seems like we are using her stroller less and less recently. We just want to hold her close and experience everything with her.
I got a little sentimental on my Instagram account today (surprise, surprise) when I was thinking about this photo. Lana has been going through a major growth spurt recently, mentally and physically. She is learning so much and crawling everywhere! It really seems like just yesterday she was a tiny baby who needed me for everything. It can be bittersweet, but I feel so lucky that God chose me to be her Mommy and witness her growing up.
At the end of the day, it’s moments like these that make my heart skip a beat. It’s amazing how much love you can have for another human being. When I say this, I mean my husband AND my daughter. They are both my greatest gifts from God.
On another note, I found some amazing wedges that I am obsessed with from Payless ShoeSource! These really get me in the Spring mood! I’ve always leaned towards flats or sandals with no height to them, but I am totally embracing all kinds of cute shoes recently and loving it! I love the detailing of the straps on these wedges. The weather just needs to keep getting warmer. 🙂
Finally, here is my full reaction to this week’s Bachelor for you all:
-“Oh, Jamaica…how I would like to be there now.”
Caila + Ben
-“That is some really awkward silence. Say something, Caila.”
-“Caila just responded, ‘Yeah’. Just communicate with him!”
-“Well, she finally said she loves him.”
Lauren + Ben
-“Look at the cute sea turtles!”
-“Was he supposed to say he loved her back?!”
-“Ben really seems in love with Lauren. You can see it on his face.”
JoJo + Ben
-“He doesn’t seem into it.”
-“No…I guess he’s into it.”
-“He just said he loved her back too!”
-“Her family could be the thing to hold him back.”
The End/Rose Ceremony
-“Looks like Ben will be letting Caila go before the rose ceremony.”
-“I don’t blame Caila for wanting to know more about when he knew.”
-“Chris Harrison’s face when Lauren tells him that Ben said he loves her back too. Hilarious.”
-“This is the most awkward, uncomfortable rose ceremony ever. You can tell that Lauren and JoJo don’t want to be near each other. You can’t blame them, though.”
The Women Tell All is on Monday, you guys! 🙂 I hope you all are getting in the Spring mood as well, and I will talk to you soon!
