Lana turned 10 months old last Friday! We are going to have a 1 year old in less than 2 months. Pinch me now, and not just because it is St. Patrick’s Day! 😉 As Lana gets older, Ashton and I get to experience all of the new phases she goes through. She is everywhere! She is crawling, standing, and cruising along the couches and every other item she can get her hands on. She is a ball of energy. Sometimes you just need coffee, and by that I mean Starbucks coffee.
Ashton has been completely redoing the house, so I have been on baby duty constantly. I know the craziness will be worth it once he is done. He is working on putting in wood flooring and new doors throughout the house, and it is already looking so nice. Ashton doesn’t want me revealing anything until it is completely done, though. We are too much alike sometimes. 🙂
Lana and I have been getting lots of bonding time during all of this, and there is never a dull moment. Now that she is 10 months old, she is able to show affection in so many new ways. All she wants to do is snuggle and play, and I am completely fine with that! I have loved the nights recently when it is raining outside, and we are all bundled up and cozy inside watching movies.
Lana’s first birthday is also right around the corner, and that just adds a bunch more things I need to plan. I have been obsessed with planners since I was a little girl, so I really enjoy picking one out that I absolutely love. This Lilly Pulitzer planner is perfect for me, because it has the pretty floral design and an awesome hard back cover with lots of organizational pages and calendars inside. It is super feminine…just the way I like it!
So much is going on now, and it is always nice to treat myself a little bit. Shopping always makes me feel better! Target is one of my favorite places, and they always surprise me with what they have to offer. Bralettes are definitely a thing right now, and I love this super feminine, lacy bralette I got at Target! It pretty much had me at lace. The shorts and top are also from Target. Speaking of treating myself, check out my last blog post if you want to read about my current, favorite beauty products that I use on a consistent basis. 🙂 When you have a daughter who is 10 months old, you need some awesome, dependable products!
As you all know, The Bachelor finale was on Monday…bittersweet, right?! Here are my finale thoughts from beginning to end:
-“Wedding ceremony tonight? Is this really happening?”
-“You can only truly love one woman…”
-“His mom didn’t seem too thrilled about him saying that he loves two women.”
-“Ben’s mom makes me nervous.”
-“He should really have a good idea by now about who he wants to choose.”
-“Ben’s mom definitely likes JoJo.”
-“You need to decide!”
Lauren + Ben
-“This is stressing me out.”
-“Ben is really scaring me with how he’s talking. I’ll admit that I’m Team Lauren.”
JoJo + Ben
-“Well, he’s acting like he doesn’t know with JoJo too.”
-“Wow, JoJo, you know he can’t just come out and tell you who he will choose.”
-“JoJo’s having a breakdown. I guess I don’t blame her. Hearing that he loves Lauren too can’t be easy.”
-“I’m getting so nervous!”
-“Okay. I feel bad for JoJo, but I can’t help but be excited for Lauren to show up!”
-“I love that Ben called Lauren’s dad and asked for permission, but especially when he jumped up and yelled out of excitement. He is always such a class act.”
-“‘Lauren, you’re my person.’ Let me gush into happy tears now.”
Now that The Bachelor is over, what are you all going to watch? Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
